Technical polymer with a very high breaking strain in relation to its diameter, up to ten times greater than a steel of equal diameter, suitable for tying large flies where it is needed a very resistant but, at the same time, not very invasive thread.
Thanks to its calibrated twisting, the fibers remain well joined but they lies flat and smooth on the hook, creating very uniform bodies and heads without steps.
Offered in red, black (solid colors that do not lose color during use) and in white that can be easily colored with a permanent marker.
Perfect for medium to large-sized flies when strength needs to go hand in hand with the filling properties of the thread.
As it is a very slippery polymer, it is recommended to use it in combination with cyanoacrylate glue before crucial steps of the fly tying process.
